The blood flowed, the fans cheered, and the tickets were given away!

We love our home, Las Vegas! Many people who visit never set foot off the Las Vegas Strip, so they don’t realize what a vibrant community there really is here in this little oasis in the desert!

We do our best to give back to the community as much as possible and in any way possible, from participating in fundraisers to hosting parties for fans to our blood drives. This time we are focused on our most recent blood drive – Our WINTER 2014 BLOOD DRIVE!

January is a shitastic time of the month for blood and plasma supplies. After the holidays, blood reserves are at their lowest levels. It is important to start the year off with as much of a head start as possible, so we do our first blood drive of the year every January.

This year United Blood Services was hoping for somewhere around 30 donated units. Once all was said and done, 45 total units were donated from 39 donors! You guys came out in droves, and we want to thank each and every person who came out to help!

If you missed the blood drive but still want to donate blood, we encourage you to contact United Blood Services.

The drive was held at MaximuM Comics. If you like comics, gaming, or any other kickassery related to fandom, check them out.
